"Wind Of The Wills" went of brilliantly, and both teams had a GREAT time! Congrats to Sarah Gibson on her first production, and for the VERY smooth run of the game!

Afters were at I-Hop, and the November Board Meeting was held.

UPDATE: Sunday, 04-NOV-2012

The Board Meeting was productive and fun, and John Jones made pies adn cookies! Then we cleaned the shed - which needed some serious, tender loving care!

By acclaim, the mini-game was scapped in favor of a full Bluebook magic shop.

UPDATE: Friday, 01-OCT-2012

Over The River was fun, but wet! We had a light and really gentle rain until about noon. Then it started falling steadily and STAYED steady for the rest of the day.
Everyone I saw had a good time in spite of the rain. It worked out nicely that it was a short game!

Almost everyone who was at the game m,ade it to the after-game party at I-HOP, and we completed the game paperwork there. Fear not: if you weren't at the after-game, your paperwork was filled out for you.

UPDATE: Friday, 01-OCT-2012

Animefest was wonderful! There was some serious confusion at first - we were in a new location and had a new space to work with, but eventually the staff got us a recruiting table and we were able to round up teams for the game.
As usual, more than half of the participants were walk-ins! Everyone seemed to have a great time, and I think we may have hooked a couple of live ones!   ☺

This was a complete hoot! It rained most of the game, but the rain kept everything nice and cool. This was a fun sojourn int the Lands of Sarkasmuss! I can honestly say that this is the first time I have ever been beamed into an alien ship!

It was an exciting and fun game! We saw the continuation of the political intrigue in our Lands, the return of an old and powerful enemy, a new Warlord of Firogynsheim was appointed, and we had other miscellaneous fun as well including a marragie proposal!

The mini-game on Saturday was short but one HECK of a lot of fun! Too bad for you if you missed it!

In addition to the game, there was a Board meeting - 3000 CAP if you were there when the meeting ran - and the
World Committee met and updated the IFGS World map. Our resident super-artist Sarah Gibson
is making the changes and will post the revised map when it is ready for public viewing!

The 2012 Annual Banquet was a real hoot! In celebration of the 25th anniversary of the Dallas Chapter, lunch was catered by Jason's Deli.
We had...Political Intrigue! Betrayal! Treachery! Combat! Cheating Wizards! Dead Bad Guys! Un-Dead Bad Guys! And so much more. It was FUN!
